WHAT THE GOLF? on this play bulletin proof

Checked: WHAT THE GOLF?, id 1415190483, bundle com.thelabelgames.golf, developer Team17 USA, seller TEAM17 USA INC. Result: 4.83 from 503 ratings, age 4+, version 20.5.33 updated 25 September 2026, 296.3 MB, iOS 13.0 or later. No price figure came back. No install total is on the card.

What the description claims the game is

The Dutch text calls it a golf parody that overturns what a reader thinks golf is. It names cats, benches, horses, cars, televisions, and tennis balls as things that show up instead of an ordinary ball. The line "it is actually not golf" is in the description. That is the basis for the tag "short parody holes". I did not count the holes. The card does not give a hole total in the portion used for this proof.

Seventeen language codes are listed, the widest set in this shortlist. Advisories are empty on the card we read, matching the 4+ line.

Version string versus the others

20.5.33 is a long version token, updated 25 September 2026. Royal Match shows 38911 on 28 September 2026. Sneaky Sasquatch shows 2.2 on 17 September 2026. These strings are copied, not normalised into a single scheme. A bigger number is not treated as a newer design.

Rank

4.83 sits 0.02 under Sneaky Sasquatch and above Grindstone's 4.64. The gap to rank 1 is smaller than the gap down to rank 3. The proof still uses a strict sort, so second place is the printed result, not a tie. 503 ratings is a thinner sample than Sneaky Sasquatch and a thicker one than Grindstone's 109.

The seller URL printed on the card is whatthegolf.com. The proof does not mirror that site. The store button is the only outbound install path. Team17 USA is the developer credit. The seller name is TEAM17 USA INC, a small difference in punctuation and legal form that is kept as two strings, not merged.

The first still on the card is a portrait frame with a car, which matches the description's list of non-ball objects. It is shown whole. The release date is 19 September 2019. The update on 25 September 2026 is seven years later. The proof does not claim the 2026 build rewrote the parody. It only records that the version token changed to 20.5.33 on that date.

503 ratings sit between Sneaky Sasquatch and Ridiculous Fishing EX. A movement of a few tenths would need dozens of new ratings. Until the archive shows a new average, rank 2 holds.

The age line is 4+ and the advisory list is empty. That pair is the same shape as Sneaky Sasquatch and a different shape from the 12+ cards. The description's joke, that the game is not really golf, is the reason the tag says parody holes. I did not time a hole, because the card does not print a duration. A reader who wants the joke can open the store still, which already shows a car on a course, and then decide. This note's job ends at the printed fields plus that one reading of the description.
